The Triple Fun Club aims to improve literacy (reading fluency, comprehension, and creative writing), oracy (elocution and impromptu speaking), and leadership (character development, responsibility, resilience etc) in the lives of children and teenagers. Club membership starts at the age of 6 (primary 1) and runs through to age 17 (S.S 3).
Our Vision: To help members develop a very solid educational foundation. This will include the right attitude towards learning as well as the motivation to believe whatever goal is set could be achieved.
Our Mission: To implement training programs, projects, and other activities that will directly impact their capacities to learn in a memorable and fun way.
Our Strategy: To work with willing and committed institutions that believe in a total and all round development of children. We strive to avoid institutions that pay lips service to their development. Members of the club are encouraged to develop a strong reading habit. As words are the bedrock of all communications, we believe a strong reading habit will show in child's future learning endeavours.
Ensuring books are effectively deployed to the members of the club in their various schools remains one of our key strategies in realising the above objective. Members of the club are entitled to a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 24 books in a 3 month academic term period and a minimum 12 reading fluency a development sessions with trained club instructors.
The club equally work with seasoned writers and authors to help develop their writing skills. This is done through workshops, seminars and meetings held at designated venues. Focus of the creative writing workshops are short stories, speeches and composition essays.
In addition to the reading and writing activities of the club, there are sessions on leadership and career development as well. This is where the club strives to intstill sound character and moral principles as well as civic responsibilities in the members. The career sessions are to help members make more informed decisions about what to do with their lives in future.
Our strategies have been found to improve the overall academic wellbeing and confidence of members as attested to by their parents and teachers
